Join in free Council events for seniors this October
Published on 19 September 2022
It’s time to celebrate the valuable contribution older people make to our community, through a range of free Council events as part of the Victorian Seniors Festival from 2-9 October.
As part of the festival there will be live and online events throughout the state, with the theme Takin’ it Easy highlighting the focus on accessible and comfortable spaces where older people can feel relaxed to participate and ease back into events post-pandemic.
Local events running during the festival include:
- A morning musical celebration Bring it Home
- A special Country Women’s Association Devonshire Tea
- Aged care and aged pension information sessions
- A movie screening of The Duke
- An historical presentation hosted by Bacchus Marsh and District Historical Society
- An introduction to sites of geological interest hosted by the Bacchus Marsh Trench Reserve Committee.
