Our 2022-23 Budget invests a $61 million in capital works 

 

Key highlights of the Budget include $61 million in capital works, including:

  • Stage 2 of Bacchus Marsh Racecourse and Recreation Reserve ($6 million)
  • Bacchus Marsh Indoor Recreation Facility ($2.8 million)
  • Ballan Library and Community Hub ($770,000)
  • Bald Hill Redevelopment ($1.1 million)
  • Shire-wide Annual Reseal Program ($1.45 million).

Community Infrastructure Program

Investing $145 million over 5 years across Moorabool Shire, this program will be delivered alongside funding contributions for other agencies. Projects funded from 2021/22 Budget: 

  • Peppertree Park, Bacchus Marsh 
  • Harry Vallance Drive Reserve 
  • Mill Park, Ballan 
  • Guy Place, Maddingley 
  • Jonathan Drive, Darley 
  • Gordon Public Park 
  • Blackwood Township Improvements
