Ballan Recreation Reserve

The Redevelopment of Ballan Recreation Reserve project features the construction of a new sporting pavilion with female friendly change rooms and amenities for players and umpires, a kitchen and canteen, storage facilities and a social room.

The project scope includes:

• New Change Pavilion consisting of:
  • 4 x female friendly change rooms
  • Umpire change area
  • Accessible change room (incl. baby change facilities)
• New Social Pavilion consisting of:
  • Function room
  • Kitchen and bar
  • Timekeepers/Office area
  • First aid room
  • Umpire change area
  • Storage
• 3 x storage sheds to service the football, cricket and netball facilities
• Soft landscaping around pavilions
• Hard landscaping consisting of pathways and communal areas
• Tiered concourse for oval spectators
• Access ramps and stairs

To make way for the new pavilion, the existing buildings on-site will be demolished prior to construction.

The Redevelopment of Ballan Recreation Reserve project is being delivered by Moorabool Shire Council in partnership with the Ballan Recreation Reserve Committee of Management and the Victorian Government.
