West Maddingley Early Years Hub

This proposed development will provide integrated, inclusive and collaborative early integrated early years services, providing families with access.

Maddingley desperately needs an early years and community hub. Council’s current infrastructure cannot cope with the population growth and current or future demands.

The proposed development of West Maddingley Early Years and Community Hub will provide integrated, inclusive and collaborative integrated early years services. It will offer access to high quality health, education, care and children and family services.

We want Moorabool Shire's children to reach their full potential; investing in early years' services is a massive part of that.

  • In 2020, there were 377 children aged 0 to 4 years living in Maddingley
  • Children aged from 0-4 years represent 8.9 percent of the area's population (above the Victorian average)
  • It is predicted that the early years population in this area will increase to 433 by 2030 - a 15% increase.
  • High-quality early childhood programs can produce a return on investment of 13% per year.
