Next steps

RRV will consider community feedback, along with findings from various technical studies and consultation with key government agencies, to select a preferred road alignment. RRV anticipate that the final alignment will be chosen by mid-2021 through detailed design process, surveys, technical reports, and detailed Multi Criteria Analysis. Expected timeframe for changes to planning scheme:

  • Planning study complete by mid-2021, 
  • Planning Scheme Amendment (PSA) documentation submitted July-Aug 2021, 
  • Submit PSA to DELWP for approval to exhibit – Sept 2021, 
  • Exhibition of PSA – Nov 2021, 
  • Review Submissions– Dec 21/Jan 2022, 
  • Panel – Feb-May 2022,
  • Approval - May-June 2022
